Michelle Lisa (Montez) Belloli was born on May 17, 1970 to Leroy Milton Montez and Betty Arlene Isenhower in Ojai, California. Michelle moved to Denair, California when she was three years old. As a child she enjoyed many activities. She enjoyed playing with dolls and Barbies, making forts, reading, building with blocks, riding her bike and playing croquet with her brothers and sisters. As she grew older she became very social and enjoyed church dances, dating and hanging out with her friends. Michelle’s education from Kindergarten through 12th grade was in the Denair Unified School district. There were about a hundred students in her high school graduating class. While in high school, Michelle worked in Denair Elementary School as a teacher’s aid, and worked at Round Table Pizza as a dishwasher, pizza maker, server and cashier. She also went to Beauty College part time her senior year of high school and completed and graduated from Adrian’s Beauty College after high school graduation in 1988.
After High school Michelle began working at a hair salon in Turlock, Ca. At this time, she attended a single adult branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints where she met Dana Belloli. Although Michelle had no initial romantic intentions toward Dana, their connection eventually led to romance. They married on October 26, 1990. At this time Michelle had already started to go to school at Modesto Junior College. Her work hair styling helped to pay for college.
Michelle continued to go to school while raising her four children: Jacob Andrew (1992), Ian Scott (1994) , Marissa Nicole (1998) and Justin Ryan(2000). She first finished her AA. in general education then, after a break, she went back to college in 2008. She graduated from Stanislaus State University Stanislaus with her BA in Child development in the Spring of 2010.
Other things Michelle has done include volunteering to bring library books to the homebound, coaching Odyssey of the Mind for 1st and 2nd graders (a creative thinking, problem solving competition), serving in many church positions, teaching preschool, volunteering with TYPA (Turlock Youth Performing Arts), and volunteering in her children’s classrooms.
